I’ve been getting real work done with GPT-6, and honestly, it’s been incredible. What interests me about OpenAI’s latest announcement is that the answer can now include something I can actually use right there in the conversation.
OpenAI calls it Intelligent UI. Depending on the question, ChatGPT can put together a chart, a comparison or a small tool with buttons and inputs. Those pieces appear while it’s answering.
Say I’m trying to choose between two options. I’d like to see them side by side, change a number and find out whether that changes my decision. Having that on the screen would help me ask the next question. I wouldn’t have to stop at reading an explanation and then figure out how to build the thing that lets me test it.
That’s why this interests me. As I learn more, I keep finding reasons to bring AI into a problem earlier. I don’t always know exactly what I need when I start asking. Being able to work with the answer could help me figure that out.
I’ll still need to check what it gives me. But I’m glad OpenAI is pushing this further. I want to spend more time working on the question and less time getting a screen set up so I can work on it.
This release applies to ChatGPT’s Chat experience, with availability depending on your account and workspace. It doesn’t change the models in Work or Codex.
